Delta State University’s Dr. Sharon Hamilton was recently awarded a grant from her home institution for her research entitled, “Enabling Polymer Analysis in the Research Laboratory and the Classroom.” Dr. Hamilton is a Research Development Grant recipient by Mississippi INBRE.

Mississippi INBRE’s Imaging Facility Director from The University of Southern Mississippi published his research, “Block ionomer complexes consisting of siRNA and aRAFT-synthesized hydrophilic-block-cationic copolymers II: The influence of cationic block charge density on gene suppression” in the journal Polymer Chemistry. His research is supported in part by Mississippi INBRE.

Dr. Santanu Banerjee, from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi was recently awarded a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for $4,500. Dr. Banerjee is a Mississippi INBRE Research Development Grant recipient.
