Catching up with 2016 Mississippi INBRE Research Scholar, Cassidy Hardy

Mississippi State University student, Cassidy Hardy has continued her research since her time as a Mississippi INBRE Research Scholar. Since completing her summer experience, Cassidy has continued to work in the Human Systems Engineering Lab at MSU where she is studying industrial engineering. She plans to graduate in May of 2018 and has already been able to secure a job with Green Mountain Technology, a data analytics group which she will begin in June 2018.

Cassidy says that her time as a Mississippi INBRE Research Scholar enabled her to begin her research and present that research at the Mississippi INBRE Annual Symposium in 2017 and the Mississippi Academy of Sciences in 2018. She said, “The most valuable aspect I have gained from being a research scholar is the confidence to problem solve independently, and speak and write technically.”

Congratulations, Cassidy. We look forward to seeing where your experience will take you next.
