Dr. Pradip Biswas from Tougaloo College published his research entitled “Designer interface peptide grafts target estrogen receptor alpha dimerization” in the journal Biochemical & Biophysical Research Communications. His research is funded by Mississippi INBRE.

Mississippi INBRE Bioinformatics Core Director, Dr. Shahid Karim from The University of Southern Mississippi recently published his research entitled, “Catalase is a determinant of the colonization and transovarial transmission of Rickettsia parkeri in the Gulf Coast tick Ambluomma maculatum. His research is supported in part by Mississippi INBRE.

Dr. Sharon Hamilton from Delta State University received a grant from DSU for her research entitled, “Modern technology in the chemistry laboratory: Progress towards an ‘Okra Strong Chemistry’ Program.” Dr. Hamilton is a Mississippi INBRE Research Development Award recipient.
