Mississippi INBRE Academic-Year Scholar, DJ Hawkins recently received an award for an outstanding research presentation in the Chemistry Division at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Phoenix, AZ. As a Millsaps College student, DJ conducted research entitled “Maleimide Coupled Doxorubicin.”
