Join us for the 85th Annual Mississippi Academy of Sciences meeting, sponsored by Mississippi INBRE, to be held Thursday, August 5 –  Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Currently, the MAS 2021 meeting will be held face-to-face with strict adherence to CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines. In an event of increases in COVID-19 conditions in Mississippi, the meeting format will be reassessed to ensure the safety for all attendees. Updated information will be provided by the MAS Board should the need for conference modification arise.

Research presented at this conference is divided into 13 divisions:
• Agriculture and Plant sciences • cellular, molecular and developmental biology • chemistry and chemical engineering • ecology and evolutionary biology • geology and geography • health sciences • history and philosophy of science • marine and atmospheric sciences • mathematics, computer sciences and statistics • physics and engineering • psychology and social science • science education • zoology and entomology.

 

Abstract Submission Deadline is May 1, 2021.

Registration Deadline is June 1, 2021.
