Mississippi INBRE Service Scholars Complete Two Week Training Camp

On May 21-June 1, 30 undergraduate students embarked on the beginning of their summer research experience with a two week training camp. The students were welcomed by My Brother’s Keeper and Mississippi INBRE. During the training camp, students were able to learn about professionalism and conducting research as well as received certifications they will use throughout their summer experience. During the final week of training, the Service Scholars were able to meet and get to know their mentors that they would be working with throughout the summer.
